Summary

Verrus Group became aware of emerging cloud-based Unified Communications technologies, specifically designed for the recruitment industry. As Verrus’ telecoms supplier contracts were concluding, Verrus took the bold decision to address their Telecommunication & IT strategy, setting a new vision to support their future growth ambitions.

Verrus’ Leadership Team found their legacy phone system to be inflexible and this became increasingly apparent in the middle of the pandemic. Verrus was not able to access key systems remotely, which led to important management information being lost.

Whilst cost was important to Verrus’ they identified that they could benefit from far better, integrated technologies without increasing their operating costs.

Verrus’ primary objective was to ensure their Recruitment Executives “live and breathe” in a single system. In doing so, all client and candidate interactions would be captured, creating an auditable trail, presenting many opportunities to improve Verrus’ Customer Experience.

Solutions & results

Working collaboratively with Oracle, Verrus received presentations from multiple Unified Comms as a Service (UCaaS) providers, each one offering different features and benefits.

By engaging with different vendors, Verrus was able to confirm precisely which product features they could and could not live without. Oracle was then able to shortlist UCaaS vendors. Oracle used their commercial experience to strike a great deal for Verrus.

Verrus’ solution was taken from Cloud Call, who are regarded as a leading recruitment UCaaC provider, due to their many CRM integrations. One of the deciding factors for Verrus was the ability to integrate Tracker RMS with Cloud Call. In doing so, Verrus were able to achieve their number 1 priority; to ensure their Recruitment Executives click to dial through Tracker RMS, to guarantee all calls are tracked and recorded.

Verrus continues to benefit from the many benefits associated with flexible, application based UCaaS solutions, which address Verrus Group’s remote working policies.
